Smart Design, Smarter Outcomes
From concept to construction, SharpGrade products are engineered with efficiency in mind. Our precision grading blades are designed to deliver more accuracy with less fuel, less rework, and less waste on-site helping contractors reduce their environmental footprint while improving productivity. Many of our systems are compatible with 2D and 3D machine control systems, ensuring optimal performance with fewer passes and emissions.
Lean Manufacturing & Zero Waste
We minimise waste at every step of our process. 100% of recyclable materials are diverted from landfill, biodegradable waste is handled via our on-site worm farm, and procurement decisions are made with reusability and recyclability front of mind. Even our offcuts and non-recyclables are repurposed, like donating safe plastics to local childcare centres for creative projects.
Energy-Efficient Facilities
Our purpose-built facility in New Zealand incorporates a range of sustainable features:
- Insulated floors, walls, and ceilings to maintain year-round comfort with minimal energy use
- Carbon-neutral pellet fire heating in winter
- Natural ventilation and solar tube lighting in summer
- Skylights in our office and warehouse to reduce artificial lighting requirements
Regenerating Our Surroundings
We’ve dedicated part of our site to a native planting restoration, creating a habitat for local birdlife, alongside a vegetable garden maintained and enjoyed by our team. These green spaces reflect our belief in restoring and giving back to the environment around us.
