QuadGrade Machine Control

The QuadGrade Sonic system enables precise elevation control by referencing a string line, concrete formwork, or matching an existing finished surface. It automatically maintains the correct crossfall relative to the target elevation, with on-the-fly adjustment or inversion via a centrally mounted, gyro-stabilized slope sensor.

Fully compatible with the standard QuadGrade 2D laser control platform, the Sonic tracker can be added at any time as a true plug-and-play enhancement. When operating in string mode, QuadGrade provides clear guidance to the operator and allows 6” (150mm) of lateral freedom on either side of the string without impacting elevation accuracy.

QuadGrade Sonic delivers a highly efficient solution for preparing kerb and gutter, driveways, cycleways, and similar work. Thanks to SharpGrade’s patented QuadRod linkage, the system can be mounted to either side of the blade for maximum flexibility on site.

The 2D system counters these inconsistencies by continuously recalculating position and slope, giving operators confidence that every yard is being cut to the intended design. This also reduces rework which is one of the most expensive inefficiencies in grading. In applications such as footpaths, subdivision work, car parks, sports courts, and drainage-sensitive areas, the ability to reliably replicate slopes and match grades on the first attempt becomes a major competitive advantage for any contractor.

Delivery will incur a freight fee if delivered out of town by truck or courier.

Spare components not sold with the system or out of warranty will incur a freight fee.

Warranty Inclusions:

SharpGrade Inc. (“SharpGrade”) warrants all structural products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from date of purchase.

SharpGrade warrants all QuadRod linkages for a period of 2 years from date of purchase.

If a product manufactured by SharpGrade is proven to be defective in material and/or workmanship, any product repaired or replaced under the terms of this warranty policy shall retain the warranty period pertaining to the product’s original date of issue.

Warranty Exclusions:

This policy does not cover:

- Carrier machine, or any parts, hitches, connections, hydraulic components, tracks, electrics, electronics associated with the carrier machine.
- Accessories that are warranted directly to the Customer by third-party manufacturers.
- Product failure as a result of incorrect installation, negligence, or misuse.
- Costs associated with the removal or reinstallation of the product or machine downtime.
- Freight costs for supply of replacement parts.
- Personal injury or property damage caused by product failure, persons, place, or machine.
- General product wear and tear on ground engaging parts, tires, pins, bushings, or hitch connections.
